Kirima: Hon Betty Kataba Calls for Calm and Fact-Based Politics Ahead of January Polls
KIRIMA, KANUNGU DISTRICT.
Hon. Betty Kataba today , Wednesday held a well-attended rally in Kirima Subcounty, urging residents to rally behind what she called “a vote of purpose” as campaigns intensify ahead of the January polls.
Betty Kataba, the NRM flag bearer for Woman MP in Kanungu District, told the crowd that her campaign is grounded in service, development and accountability.
She asked voters to focus on issues rather than what she described as growing political propaganda.

“We are building a future rooted in progress, not noise,” she said, calling on supporters to verify information and reject misleading claims circulating in the district.
The rally drew hundreds of residents who cheered as Kataba outlined her priorities, including better access to health services, improved education opportunities, support for women and youth groups and stronger oversight on government programs.
Kataba is expected to continue her campaign trail across Kanungu this week, with more community engagements planned.
