Based on the new grading distributions As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Es, performance in UNEB 2024 was as follows. What should rather be obvious is that in 2024, traditional schools performed very well, especially in Wakiso, Mukono, and Kampala.

   As per the general 2024 UCE rankings, Uganda Martyrs Secondary School, Namugongo came top with 2,375 As and 1,948 Bs. This school has a history of excellent performance in Uganda for consecutive years.

2. St. Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende (Wakiso)
   Point at a national powerhouse, I will point at Kitende.
   As: 946

   Total Grades: 4,491
   Such excellent performance made it firmly among the top 100 schools in UCE 2024 in Uganda.

3. St. Mary’s College, Kisubi (Wakiso)

   By scoring 838 As and 1,660 Bs, this school earned a spot on the list of top schools in UCE in 2024.
   King’s College Budo continues to combine tradition and performance, maintaining its position among the best performers nationally.

8. Kawempe Muslim Secondary School (Kampala)
   Kawempe Muslim scored 794 As and 1,772 Bs in UCE 2024. This school has been an academic giant for many years. Results are always nothing short of impressive.

9. Immaculate Heart Girls School, Rukungiri (Rukungiri)
   As: 745
   Bs: 2,160
   Total Grades: 3,690
   Straight out of Rukungiri, Immaculate Heart Girls School delivered outstanding performance within the top 100 schools in UCE 2024 in Uganda. Not only a giant of Western Uganda but also of the country.

10. Gayaza High School (Wakiso)
    As: 742
    Bs: 1,514
    Total Grades: 2,502
    Gayaza High School remains one of Uganda’s most respected girls’ schools. I can write this without any fear of contradiction.
