Hon. Betty Kataba, the NRM flag bearer for Woman MP in Kanungu District, today, Thursday continued her campaign trail with a community engagement in Kayungwe, urging residents to stay focused on development-centered politics as the election season enters a critical phase.
Kataba, speaking to a large gathering of locals, emphasized that her campaign is rooted in service delivery, transparency and practical solutions to everyday challenges faced by families in Kayungwe and across the district.
She highlighted priorities such as improving access to clean water, supporting women and youth groups with income-boosting programs, strengthening health services and ensuring that government initiatives reach the intended.
Local leaders in Kayungwe praised the peaceful turnout and said Kataba’s message resonated strongly with residents, especially her focus on community empowerment and honest leadership.
Betty Kataba is expected to continue her mobilization efforts as the race for Woman MP intensifies ahead of the January polls.
