Former Kawempe South Member of Parliament, Hon. Munyagwa Mubaraka, has publicly dismissed singer Iryn Namubiru’s recently released memoir, My Mother Knows.
During an online interview, Munyagwa described the 300-page book as not worth the effort Namubiru claims to have put into it. He went further to call the publication “full of trash” and criticised the singer for what he described as openly attacking her mother through its contents.

Namubiru’s new book titled “My Mother Knows.” which was launched in recent weeks, offers a raw account of her life. It touches on painful childhood experiences, including abuse by her biological mother and stepfather, growing up in a troubled family, and facing betrayal from people she once trusted.
